Book Review: Sunrise on The Battery

Sunrise on The Battery by Beth Webb Hart is an amazing love story of  one family struggle to realize they have to rely on God for guidance. At first the Scovilles are a picture “perfect” family or so it seemed. They had a wonderful marriage, 3 terrific children but one day Mary Lynn feels the tug of God and prays for God to come into her husband’s heart. But she soon learns that you have to be careful what you pray for because what you want may not be what you expect. She then struggles with her husband’s faith.
This is a wonderful story how God can turn something unexpected into something wonderful, making people realize that what was unexpected was something that had been truly wanted all along. It is amazing to me how God does work in mysterious ways. This story is an amazing example of how much we all need God’s amazing love and grace in our lives.
